This Deluxe Brooks B33 triple Spring Saddle is a big wide seat meant for the upright riding position on a Vintage Touring or Classic Cruiser Bike. Your Choice of Black or Brown from the Menu. It has a High Quality Durable Vegetable 5mm Tanned Leather Top, Chrome 3 way Stranded Steel Spring Suspension. The saddle is approximately 12 1/2" or 318mm nose to tail long and around 235mm or 9 1/4" wide. The Seat Weighs about 1600 grams or a hair over 3 1/2 pounds. The seat has Triple Rails with a 7/8" seat pan clamp, 7/8" clamps are common to all new seats, and Vintage Schwinn seat posts have an 5/8" top (a size no longer used), You will need a Newer 7/8" top Schwinn Post or Shim to use with the clamp. You'll need to make sure you oil your saddle when it needs it, otherwise it'll dry out, crack and become worthless. I would follow Brooks Care Recommendations because Brooks is vegetable tanned and old leather working techniques are not recommended. A Leather Saddle is an investment and is not for one who wants a care free seat that can be left in the rain. You can't avoid getting caught in the rain ( it will happen) but with good care it will last and be a saddle you love.
