Beautiful item

Cassette deck with some features omitted or changed from the

680ZX, such as half speed.
The 670ZX is equipped with an auto azimuth alignment function

that automates azimuth adjustment.
This allows adjustment simply by loading the tape to be recorded

and turning on the calibration switch, and the adjustment is

complete when the indicator on the play button stops blinking.
In actual operation, when the calibration switch is turned ON, the

built-in 400 Hz 0 dB test signal is turned ON and this is recorded.
Then, the immediately reproduced 400 Hz sine wave signal is

converted to a square wave, and the phase discrimination circuit

detects the advance (delay) between the left and right channels.
This phase shift activates the switching circuit to control the output

of the operational amplifier.
Depending on whether the right channel advances or lags behind

the left channel, the positive or negative voltage applied to the

output of the operational amplifier = motor terminals changes, and

the direction of rotation of the motor changes.
This moves the lever connected to the reduction gear and adjusts

the tilt angle of the recording head.

Operation has been checked. All operations have been checked

and there are no problems.
