You are bidding on a vintage Western Electric type D166874 oil condenser.  It has 4 sections of .5 MFD believed to be at 250 VDC.  All four sections test good and just slightly over .5 MCF with my Flu ke meter, no high voltage applied.  It is in nice clean condition, with gray paint, and a date code of I-44.  I believe it is equivalent to a 315B condenser.  It is in nice clean condition, but one lead is broken off, but there is enough to solder on a new lead.  It measures roughly 2 3/8 by 1 ½ inches in cross section, and is 4 3/4 inches tall, not counting the terminals.  It should be great for use in your tube amplifier project.  Shipping weight is 1.75 pounds.   Please see my other auctions for more interesting radio and audio items, and tubes.
