Measuring 290mm in length, 237mm in width, and 60mm in height, this limited edition book is a substantial 2.1kg weight. Published by Frederick Warne & Co in 2009, this edition is a true collector's item.
The book is in an excellent condition. It has hard-board covers bound in a blue-grey fabric stamped with designs on both boards and spine and lettering in gilt. The page ends are gilded. The covers, endpapers and all pages are unmarked and the pages have not tears or creases. The presentation case is constructed of thick board bound and embossed as with the book itself. It is also unmarked.
The book and case come with the original cardboard box in which they were sold. It is a little battered, but still in a good condition.
The label on the cardboard box and the label inside the front cover of the book state that it is one of a limited edition of 1,000. However, the actual number has not been added in.
