Antique Circa 1883 silver cased English lever pocket watch. The dial is white enamel with black Roman numerals and blued steel hands with sub-dial and marked Kuner Schwer & Co Old Market Street Bristol. The movement has an English lever escapement with ruby jewelled end-stone clean and will run, but runs a little slow and tends to stop from time to time so I am selling this watch as is, in need of a service. No return. The movement is marked Kuner Schwer & Co Old Market Street Bristol with the number to the top of its balance cog 10103. It is key wind and set. The back cover is marked to the inside with London silver hallmarks for 1883 the makers mark AMJ and the number 10103 the same as the movement telling us the case and movement started life together. The case is clean and bright and has pocket wear as to its age with all the covers closing nice and tight. The dial and dial lens are clean and clear and free from any chips or cracks with scratching to its dial lens. It Measures 47mm excluding crown.
