Underneath the band is the artists initials in a 100% finished, smooth as silk sterling silver 925 metal.  ALL edges have been smoothed and rounded. It is without a rough or sharp edge anywhere and is a DREAM to slip onto your finger. It glides on effortlessly. The band is wide at 11mm knuckle to knuckle (or just under half an inch) and tapers down slightly in the back to 8mm for comfort.
