Bourrut-Le Meri was a Paris author and published of playing & educational cards. There were 3 editions published between c.1819 (1st) c.1830 (2nd) and c.1836 (3rd). This card being from the last edition which was not published by Bourrut-Le Meri but the cards are identical to the second edition which he did publish so most probably were from the same plates. The publisher of the 3rd edition is unknown. The set was enclosed in a coloured box with the title page pasted to the front. The last 4 photos show the box. This map is part of an incomplete set. Hence the sale.

CONDITION - Good for its age. As with all old maps/prints there may be minor imperfections, age toning, stains, spots, creases etc...
