Up for sale is CX237, Lake’s staple road shoe model for a long time (until it was recently replaced by its successor CX238). CX237 offers the high-quality fullgrain cow leather (the most desired part of leather that retains the most surficial layer of cow skin) for the supple feel and roominess thanks to Lake's Competition last for those of you with wider feet.

CX237 wasn't at the top of Lake's heap of high-tech, uber-comfortable kicks, but you'd never know it. Competition-worthy construction, dual-BOA (IP1S) closure, and a smooth, ergonomic leather upper are the key ingredients that make Lake's mid-range shoe feel like it costs twice as much.

The pair for sale here is brand-new – they were never worn.

CX/TX Competition Last - With a profile specifically designed for very high-cadence riding & higher pressure, Lake Competition last features a more curved profile than the Sport last (used on models such as the 177/176 series. The main differences include increased toe pitch & heel lift, a tighter heel & a slightly wider ball girth to allow the foot to expand under high pedaling pressures. Competition is the second roomiest last in Lake's last collection and only a very small number of people with incredibly large foot volume will need THE roomiest Comfort Plus last (found on the 201 series).

OUTSOLE 

Lake Competition 100% Carbon Fiber Sole - 3 hole cleat pattern for Shimano/Look/Time, etc. It's also compatible with a Wahoo SPEEDPLAY cleat with an adapter. *Note that cleats are not included in the sale.

UPPER 

Fullgrain leather and mesh with a genuine leather heel lining. The leather upper is sleek, form-fitting and has minimized stitching for an esthetic that draws on over 30 years of Lake's cycling shoe heritage. The all-leather upper is supple and form-fitting giving you a glove-like feel that over time makes a perfect match to your foot like nothing else. Outlast temperature-regulating heel and tongue lining offers a luxurious foot feel, while maintaining a breathable, durable & firm grip to your foot.

CLOSURE 

Dual side-mounted Push/Pull IP1-S BOA lacing system with releasable lace guides. The closure system utilizes dual BOA's for even more adjustability.

SIZING 

Please consult the size guide on Lake’s website prior to the purchase, if you’re not sure about an appropriate size for your feet. There’s also an instructional video titled “Lake Shoe Fitting: How shoes are sized and finding your shoe size” on YouTube.

SHIPPING 

The shoes will be shipped from Japan via FedEx or DHL Expedited service. Once the package is handed to the courier on my end, you may not change the delivery address or there will be additional charge for that. Therefore, please make sure that the address you’re providing to me is where you or someone on your behalf will be able to receive the package, and double-check that the address is complete with no information missing.

Also, delivery to a remote area may incur additional charge (usually around US$20). Search with keywords such as "fedex out of delivery area" or "dhl remote area" and you'll find their lists of these areas.
