Description A superb heavy all original and matching English antique solid sterling silver double Albert pocket watch chain in excellent clean condition and with English silver hallmarks for Chester 1911. Nice long length with silver curb chain links and 2 secure silver swivel/dog catches and attached is a lovely antique solid silver medal with historic prize inscription. It weighs a heavy approx 59 grams, (total). Great silver watch chain.

Measurements Measures approx 16.55 inches (420mm) in length, (end to end) with a further 1.25 inches on the fob chain.

Date English antique solid sterling silver with English silver hallmarks for Chester 1911, (date letter "L") on the t-bar and on the 2 silver swivel/dog catches, so definitely all matching and there are clear lion passant silver hallmarks on all of the chain links. The silversmiths initials on the bar and dog clips are "E.P" (Edwin Page - 1901 - 1925); the attached silver medal is also guaranteed antique sterling silver and is hallmarked Birmingham 1919, (date letter "u").

Condition Excellent clean condition with no splits or repairs and only minor wear on the chain links, a superb all original genuine antique example and the 2 original silver swivel/dog catches still work perfectly and open and close securely. Beautiful silver watch chain with a lovely heavy silver weight.
