the rectangular case with rounded corners, rising sun decoration, and a circular cut sapphire, A cabochon sugarloaf sapphire thumbpiece, to interior with presentation inscription '27.XI.1919-13.VII.1922, A Mr le Lt Colonel Gros-Coissy en souvenir de la Finlande et des camarades de l'Amée Finlandaise' . Marked 56 STAND FOR 14ct gold , with some other marks as I really don’t know what they are,

It comes with A fitted case marked to the interior of the lid, Jusi Kultasappa, Helsinki. Major Julien Gros-Coissy was part of the French military commission in Finland, and was part of the team that organized the fortifications of the Isthmus of Karelia and Lake Ladoga, opposite Petrograd and the Bolshevik troops.
