This heritage patio, pot grown apple tree comes to you approximately 110 cm in height including the 4L pot. It is low maintenance and needs little pruning. Its apples are full sized not dwarfed.
It is a on a grafted, dwarfing patio rootstock and will reach a mature height of between 1 and 2m. It is ideal for a patio or a garden. It is triploid apple which will need two other apple trees of different varieties, such a Braeburn or Cox's Orange Pippin nearby to produce fruits. Triploids produce large crops of fruits with good disease resistance. It is fully hardy. 
It produces lots of fragrant white flowers blushed with pink in May, which are loved be bees and other pollinators. 
In the October it produces large green cooking apples which are considered to be the best cooking apples. As they have a strong sharp flavour and store well. It has been grown true from seed.
It prefers to be planted in full sun in a sheltered position, in humus rich, moist, free draining soil.
In Spring we recommend top dressing the surrounding soil with fertilizer and to mulch around the base of the tree.
This pot grown tree will establish a lot quicker than a bare root or root-balled tree.
Please note: this fruit tree is deciduous so it looses its leaves in the Autumn and grows new ones in the spring.
