We are pleased to offer this lovely antique porcelain open handled cake plate manufactured by the Austrian China Company. It features a brown floral design with small yellow and blue flowers on a white background with decorative in-mold embossed rim. It has 22k gold trim around the inside the openings of the handles.
It measures 10" in diameter on the non-handled sides. It is marked on the bottom "Austrian China" with a crown above a circle with a lion-ish animal in it. The sources we have consulted confirm that this Bohemian ceramic mark is currently unidentified.
This cake plate is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Just a lovely piece of vintage Bohemian porcelain that you are sure to want to add to your collection.
