We are pleased to offer this lovely antique yellow ware coffee mug - unmarked but most likely manufactured by the Rockingham or Bennington Pottery Company. This heavy spongeware cup features a brown and cream mottled design with an off-white interior.

It stands 3-1/2" tall and measures 3" in diameter. The shape of this mug's handle reminds us of the restaurant ware Victor ironstone mugs - possibly of the same period. It has overall light crazing more noticeable on the interior; otherwise it is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Just a lovely piece of vintage American yellowware that you are sure to want to add to your spongeware collection.
