Description A stunning large antique solid sterling silver gilt & Guilloche enamel box in excellent clean condition and dating from around 1920-1930. Superb quality and a nice bigger size, with a hinged silver lid and is decorated with beautiful undamaged enamelling in a lovely more uncommon lilac colour. Inside it still a pristine fully gilded interior and comes with its original bevelled mirrored glass. It is complete with its silver gilt finger ring and chain; it weighs 74 grams and there are no added personal engraved inscriptions. Fabulous silver box, looks little used.

Measurements Box measures 2.5 inches (64mm) in diameter and is 0.85 inches (21mm) deep.

Date Antique solid sterling silver has a set of silver hallmark stamps and is also stamped "Sterling" and has the pattern number "2953". 100% guaranteed antique silver, possibly Austrian or Hungarian, dates from around 1920-1930. 

Condition Excellent clean condition, with no splits or wear/polish holes and no nasty knocks or dents, a lovely genuine antique example and the original exterior gilding is still virtually all intact. The hinged lid works perfectly and opens and closes securely and the interior gilding is pristine and the glass mirror still nice and clear. Most importantly the beautiful lilac guilloche enamelling is in fabulous undamaged condition with no chips or restoration and no surface scratching at all, looks hardly used. Superb silver box and a really more uncommon colour enamel.
