This being entirely as found from a local auction house

A fairly robust linen cloth which has been embroidered by hand

This has been stuck to a thin panel of wood

In total measuring 25.5cm x 24cm

As you can see the edges now lifting with age and storage

Very likely to be a 'one-off' with some care it could be made better for display

No cleaning has been attempted on our part
