This is a really superb Belgian Silver Dinner Fork.

The fork is in the French Fiddle Thread Pattern, and is cast to the underside of the terminal, with a very ornate crest for St Pieter's Gilde, Brugges.

The fork is marked A835 to confirm the purity of the silver is 83.5%, and there is a maker's mark of a D under a snake. This is the mark for Delheid Freres, or the Delheid Brothers, who could trace their origins as far back as 1828, and survived into the 1980's.

The A835 silver mark would date the fork to post 1942, so the fork will date to between the 1940s and the 1980s.

The fork is 20.4 cm long, and weighs 61 g.

Excellent condition with just light scratches.
