This 3 1/2" by 8 1/2" pre-owned thick cardstock program, tied with gold cord, is from the Unveiling Of the Memorial Tombstone for boxer JOE LOUIS (BARROW), which was held on September 11, 1981 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. Joe Louis (May 13, 1914 - April 12, 1981) was an American professional boxer who competed from 1934 to 1951. Nicknamed "the Brown Bomber", Louis is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential boxers of all time. He was victorious in 25 consecutive title defenses, a record for all weight classes, and had the longest single reign as champion of any boxer in history.

This sourvenir from the memorial service, is printed on two inner pages, which were difficult to photograph because the gold cord is tied tightly. The left side has a List of Appreciation, and the right page lists the ceremony's schedule. This vintage memento, in very nice condition, will make a fine addition to any collection.
