VTG 70s Hawaiian Full-length Sleeveless Scooped Neck Cotton Dress 11/12 Baba Kea Honolulu

The vintage 1970s multi-color Hawaiian dress by Baba Kea Honolulu was purchased at Liberty House, Honolulu by my great-aunt during her first of many trips to Hawaii to visit her daughter. As a favorite dress, she took particular pride in taken good care of the dress; hand-washing and air drying it, because she didn't want the colors to fade.

Made of heavy textured herringbone cotton, the Junior Size (11/12) Empire-waist style sleeveless dress with scoop front bodice, square back, tailored front bodie and wide waist band with two (2) darts in the back is in very good vintage condition. Measurements are:
                  Bust front: 20" + back 17" T = 37         Hips (6" from High-waist bottom seam: 42 3/4"
Arm pit to arm pit: 35"                           Skirt length: 37 3/4"
                  High-waist band top width: 29"             Skirt center-back slit: 18 1/4"
High-waist band bottom width: 28"       Skirt hem: 2"
High-waist band length: 2 1/2"              Shoulder to Hem length: 52"
                  Coil zipper length: 13 1/2"

Given the measurements, the "junior size" dress bodice is a fitted style with A-line gently gathered skirt is probably not suitable for a full-busted individual.
