Author Biography

Born in 1978 in Paris, Mathieu Mariolle is a comic book writer who, from an early age, has been immersed in Franco-Belgian classics such as Blueberry, The Incal, and Les Passagers du Vent.

After studies and a career as a translator, in 2004 he signed Pixie, his first book, drawn by Aurore Demily and published by Delcourt. He then worked on a variety of different series including the crime thriller De sang froid (Delcourt), the comic book adaptation of Foot 2 Rue (Soleil), the spin-off saga Les Mondes de Thorgal - Kriss de Valnor (Le Lombard), as well as the eponymous albums of the video artist Nota Bene (Soleil), specializing in historical popularization.

Mathieu Mariolle currently lives in Essonne.

Born in Rome in 1972, Fabio Piacentini has been a comic book writer since 1992. 

He has worked with top Italian publishing houses including: Tattilo Editrice, Casa Editrice Universo, D'Argenzio Editore, Star Comics, Eura, Mondadori, Rai and Raimbow. 

A draftsman at Newton & Compton Editori, he has signed many volumes of the series I Centouno and I Milleuno. He has also been part of the team behind Martin Mystery (Sergio Bonelli Editore) since 2012. 

From 2018 to 2020, he participated in the production of Star Wars (Lucas Art) and Mickey Mouse comics with Disney America. In 2019, he collaborates with Soleil in the creation of The PSG Saga

Massimo Travaglini was born in Termoli in 1985. In 2004, he enrolled at the School of Comics of Pescara. He started working as a colorist for various magazines and then landed on Grand Galop, a comic transposition of the TV movie of the same name, published in France by Delcourt.

He then worked as a colorist for Leviathan Labs on titles published in England and America: among them VOIVOD: The True Story of Vlad the Impaler, Silence of God, and Cherry Bullet.

In 2018 he joined TomatoFarm and worked as a colorist for Paris Saint-Germain: la saga du PSG (Soleil), Crusaders, Star Wars: Droidography (Éditions Insight) and many others.
