Listed here is RARE 1st ed 1855 volume 7 out of the 30 volume set THE UNIVERSAL MASONIC LIBRARY it is THE REVELATIONS OF A SQUARE by REV. GEORGE OLIVER. It is hardcover loose boards 9 1/2" x 6"  316 pgs in addition is added an Adjunct text AN INTRODUCTION TO FREEMASONRY  75 pgs scholars of Freemasonry will recognize this volume 7 out of a series of 30 volumes.


As it stands on its own 1855 is the date of the 1st ed of Revelations of a Square and I do not know if this was published first in the set and became popular and was published on its own the same year. I will leave that to scholars if the adjunct 75 pgs are in George Oliver's 1st ed.


I have taken photos and this book is sold as is the covers are detached but fit well and it is not normal in archrival world to tape or even rebound such a precious old volume..


The fixing is light on the few loose pages v with cover but the interior of the book from title page is sound. No writing very clean for over a 150 yr old book.  Usually player are excised out of books this fold out is pristine and worth cost of book.
