Plate is marked with the green colored "alka" mark dates between 1938-1958. These plates are 7.75" diameter, perfect for bread, dessert/cake or salad. They have ornate filigree gold gilt at the rim and floral gold gilt that overlay a teal green background. The center is white with a gold center medallion. They show age appropriate wear, including tarnishing of the gold. Aside of the tarnish, other aspects of the design are in amazing condition - no fading, scratching or missing portions. One plate does have a very, very small chip on the back and 1 plate has crazing on the back. Please see the last 4 pictures for these disclosures. All other plates do not have any chips, cracks, or crazing.
