QATAR - CENTRAL BANK ISSUE - 1 RIYAL Banknote - 2008 series issue. Note is in crisp and clean UNCIRCULATED Condition.

1 Riyal denomination. The note is in Blue and Purple on Multicolours. On the face there is the Qatari Coat of Arms at the top left showing images of a Dhow with Palm trees and crossed swords. The denomination ‘١’١’’ appears at the bottom left corner and at the lower right to the left of the Serial Number, in large size. At the top right the denomination is smaller and it also appears at the left side oof the note in raised format markings for the visually impaired.
The reverse of the note has the issuer at the top left as Qatar Central Bank and the denomination as One Rial at the lower right. The denomination as ‘1’ is at the top right and lower left corners. At the left side is a large image of three native birds, as follows - a Crested lark, a Eurasian Bee Eater and a Lesser Sand Plover.
The note has two security threads, at the right aide on the face there is a solid thread, while at the right of centre is a windowed security thread.
The note's serial number is in Red at the lower left and very Dark Brownish Green at the lower right - it is in the X/XXX XXXXXX format and consists of Arabic numerals, see scan for details.
In the watermark area at the lower left is a Falcon's head.
The note is sized 134 x 66 mm. It is undated, but was issued from 2008 -2015. The note has the Signatures of His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Saoud Al-Thani as Central Bank Governor at the lower centre left and Yousef Hussain Kamal Al Emadi as Finance Minister at the lower centre right.
The note was printed by Messrs. Thomas De La Rue & Company Limited.

Rest of World: £3.49 by Airmail - no tracking, or £10.90 for registered mail (Necessary for all items or groups of items with a value exceeding £30). Multiple wins/items are batched and sent at no extra cost, unless weight is significantly higher, above 20 grams.
NB. Please do not pay until you receive my invoice, especially if you have won more than one item, as I always combine the postage packing and shipping costs, so that you save on postage. I do of course appreciate it if you pay quickly but I am sure you wouldn't want to be paying too much for postage. PLEASE NOTE ALL ITEMS ARE NOW USUALLY MAILED FROM MY CURRENT LOCATION IN ITALY, posted the same day that payment is received or the next working day after payment, if made at the weekend. When I am in the UK, I will post from there.
