Presented here is a superb example of a gracious large Edwardian solid Oak wood cased clock, powdered by Kienzle (Germany) three train movement and plays Westminster Chimes, made around early 1900. It has all the original fittings, brass decorations, inlaid, beautifully engraved patterns on the thick silvered bronze dial. The case has been fully restored, waxed a few times, to exhibit appealing antique Redish tones. The movement has been completely dismantled, ultrasonically cleaned, examined, Repaired, serviced and oiled. It now ticks beautifully, and chimes with lovely soft tunes. It is truly an amazing example of a gracious Edwardian period clock, a great piece of furniture and time machine. It will be eye-catching in any mantel in a living room.

Please look at the photos for detailed decoration features. After a few times of waxing, the case now looks clean, tidy, shiny, lovely and attractive.

The front of the clock has a large 7-inch spun brass bezel that fitted with the original bevelled convex glass protecting the thick silvered brass dial with engraved Roman Numerals for the time, pointed by a pair of blade shaped steel hands. Light wood inlaid is designed just under the bezel, with inlaid around the entire front edge. The back door has the original brass mesh, with the original dust cloth.

The movement has no manufacture mark, believed to be Kienzle Germany (>90%), only with series numbers (2129) at the large brass back plate, however it is a Germany make at early 1900. The movement is rather heavy, extremely solid built, compared with other three train movement. It has been completely overhauled ultrasonically (see photos), examined, repaired and serviced. It chimes quarterly, for 4, 8, 12, and 16 Westminster notes, plus the striking on the full hours. The over century old clock is now in great working order and keeps great time. It does not have silence function.

Obviously, like wisdom, wears and tears also come with age, as shown in the photos which form an essential part of the description. However, nothing is that distractive to the antique attraction of this antique clock, which surely would make your mantel special.

All clocks on sale have been tested for weeks, and they all come with a pendulum and working winding key. In this case, this clock comes with the original bronze pendulum and an antique steel winding key, and it is in excellent working order.

This grand clock is enormous, with an overall measurement of 35 cm (13 inch) tall, 30 cm (12 inch) wide, and 18 cm (7 inch) in depth. The movement is rather heavy!

I will pack the clock as careful as possible to make sure it arrives safely. In case the clock is damaged during the shipment (Shit happens), I will either repair it for you or offer full refund without any hesitation, or partial refund if you wish to fix it yourself.
