Presented today is a very rare, Victorian, fully RESTORED, beautifully carved solid wood-cased TURE-ANTIQUE Alarm Bracket/Shelf Clock, made by Philipp Haas & Söhne (P.H&S), Germany, around 1880s. It has been fully restored and presented in fabulous attractive antique condition, in Full Working Order and keeping good timing. The movement has been completely overhauled, stripped ultrasonically, and services; whilst the case has just been restored and waxed to show a great antique condition. The dial shows signs of usage.  See photos for details. It now looks great, touches great, and functions nicely. It would be a great piece of furniture in your living room, full of Cottage Attractions.

This Victorian clock case, is presented in a very attractive format, full of carved decorations all around the case, see photos for details. The 5-inch polished brass bezel is fitted with a flat glass to protect the white painted enamel dial with black Roman numerals.

Everything in this clock is original, a true piece of 19th century timepiece.

The movement could be made by the PH&S, Black Forest Regeion in Germany, during 1880-1890 as the plain logo on the back plate indicated. It is probably a 30 h movement, rather than 8-days.

The clock is a time piece, does not strike. The alarm is set via the central gilt dial behind the hour hand, which is automatically stopped for repeat after another 12 hours. I tried the alarm a few times after overhaul, and it is working perfectly.

The little cottage devil has a very cute size to fit any shelf, which measures: 25 cm tall x 18 cm wide x 10 cm deep (10 x 7 x 4 inch).

The clock comes with the original gilt pendulum and a vintage steel winder, and is in good working order after thorough testing.

There are light signs of wear to the case, but nothing that detracts from its overall beauty; however you be the judge from the photos which form an essential part of the description.
