RACERS-Vol.35 Marlboro Yamaha YZR Part3 Motorcycle Magazine(NEW)JAPAN

RACERS - Racers - Vol.35 Marlboro Yamaha YZR Part3 Battle between YZR500 and Norick during the turbulent mid-1990s (Sanei Mook)

Marlboro YZR Part 3

from the review
☆ The cover is #17 Marlboro color
The theme of this issue is "Marlboro Yamaha YZR Part 3", and it starts off with a Dim Sum-colored NSR Norick, and ends with a Norick from Mr. Shogo "Teppe" Nakao's American dirt track days, an almost perfect Norick. It is a special issue (of course, there is also a commentary on the promised machine)

The title of an interview article with a Yamaha engineer at the time refers to the "lost 10 years" (a time when Yamaha could not win the title), but after reading this issue, I felt that the Japanese motorcycle scene was... The magnitude of what he has lost... the feeling of emptiness that Daijiro, Shoya, and Norick are no more...

I can't help but hope that in a few years' time RACERS will feature a special feature full of (new) Japanese riders like this again.

☆Norick and YZR
MarlboroYZRpart3.The legend of Kenny, Lawson, Rainey and Marlboro YAMAHA continues to Norick.
At that time, expectations were high for the birth of Japan's first 500cc champion, and Yamaha was in a slump after Rainey. This is an indescribable book that brings back the feelings of fans during that complicated time.
How SUZUKI won the title twice during the lost 10 years of NSR's heyday, and if 500cc had continued for several years later.
What happened to YZR? Please take a look at the other NSR and RGΓ series to make a guess.
Eight years passed by in the blink of an eye, but I remembered Norick.
This is a book that says thank you for the inspiration.
