Kodak
Medallion-8 Movie Camera
from 1957
This advertisement is by the Eastman Kodak Company, of Rochester NY.
This ad has a color photo of a Kodak Medallion-8 movie camera. It is in front of a tug boat pushing a large ocean liner (no names visible). There is a big ‘M’ on the tug’s stack; websearching says it belongs to the Moran Towing Corp., who are still in business. There is a smaller photo of the camera with the triple turret lens.
Ad text starts “Now…presenting the easiest-to-use home movie camera Kodak ever made!” and goes on about the camera.
This ad is full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1957 magazine.
