This ALL BRITISH MADE beautiful clock was manufactured by Anvil during 1930-40s using the renowned, quality, three-train Perivale movement produced in Middlesex, North London. The arch toped oak-veneered case looks very attractive, with curling carves at both corners of the front, having an antique dark brown colour tone. The clock has been restored, polished and waxed to present in a shiny condition; the famous Perivale movement has been dismantled, ultrasonically overhauled, repaired, and oiled (see photos), as usual. The All British Made clock is now presented in a beautiful antique condition, great working order and, plays the quarterly Westminster chimes plus the full hour striking, which can be silenced easily.

The art-deco shaped case is made of Oak veneers, with an arched top, curved shoulder, carved corner, adopting an antique dark brown colour tone. The 6-inch chrome-plated bezel fits with a convex glass to protect the silvered chapter ring with artistic Arabic Numerals for the hour, which is pointed by a pair of diamond shaped, silvered minute and hour hands.  Pease look at the photos for detailed decorative features and signs of very light wears and tears.

The re-known Perivale movement was subjected to careful examination, stripping off the components, ultrasonically overhauled, quite a few worn bushes replaced, and serviced. The logo and series number are inscribed on the back plate of the movement. It was made in the 1930s. The clock is now working very well for weeks, ticking beautifully, chiming pleasantly (assess the tone) and keeping good time. The quarterly Westminster chime is produced via four bronze bars, making 4, 8, 12 chimes at every 15, 30, 45 minutes and 16 chimes +striking at the full hour, which can be silenced easily by flicking a small lever inside the dial on the right.

The dial, hands, glass, and bezel are all in very good antique condition (see photo).

The clock has a medium size, measures: 10-inch wide, 8.5-inch tall and 6-inch deep (25 x 22 x 15 cm).

All clocks I sell are subject to weeks of testing prior to listing, and they come with a pendulum and working winding key. In this case, the clock comes with its original pained pendulum and the original Perivale brass winding key.

Please look at the photos which form an essential part of the description.

I will pack the clock as careful as possible to make sure it arrives safely. I will provide a guidance to help set up the pendulum.

Please contact me if something goes wrong after delivery, as we cannot guarantee all clocks are handled with care, but I will provide all necessary help to sort out any issues satisfactorily about the clock.
