King George V facing left, with the legend:

The 1914 United Kingdom florin reverse shows

vertically aligned cruciform crowned shields,

with four sceptres diagonally between.


The top and bottom shields show three

lions representing England, the left a harp

representing Ireland, and the right one lion

representing Scotland.


The legend 'ONE FLORIN' is divided above

the main design, with the date divided below.
