An Authentic Original

CASIO EDIFICE CHRONOGRAPH, GENTS WATCH

Exact year is not known. First produced in 2011. This one looks to be in VGC so may be more recent. The model number is EFR-517.

 Still selling #NEW# from online retailers from £95 up to £190. 

 It has just been cleaned and a new battery fitted (SR927SW). It looks to be in very good overall condition with only light wear from previous use.  Dial is Silver with usual inner Chrono. dials. Stop Watch, Seconds etc. The watch is running strongly, keeps good time. Rated when new at +/- 20secs. per month. Chronograph functions and resets perfectly. 

DIAL/HANDS:-  All in excellent condition with clear readout. Signed Casio Edifice and Water Resistant 100m. and there is a date window at 4.30 o'clock. 

The hands are also in VGC and in the usual arrowed style. The hands are silver and the main hands are lumed . The chrono/stop watch etc functions and resets correctly. Dial and Hands are about 95% as new.

CASE:- In good overall condition. Lightly polished and still has a  nice bright finish. There may be an odd light mark on the screw down back case and bezel but nothing serious. The back has all the ID information and the company logo. All still generally crisp and clear. Case size is approx. 41mm plus the crown and lug to lug is 49mm. Depth is 12mm. 

WATER RESISTANT:-  YES! This model, when new, was originally rated to 100Mt. The gaskets all seem fine and the watch will be good for everyday use. 

Depth and Pressure testing not carried out. 

  

CROWN:-   Ridge edged stainless steel crown and stem in VGC. 

           The push stud Chrono buttons  all work correctly.

CRYSTAL:-   The mineral glass crystal is in good clean and clear condition.

MOVEMENT:-  The original Japanese quartz movement.  Battery life is 2 years from new.

Runs accurately, keeping good time. Chronograph functions and resets correctly.

 STRAP or BRACELET:- The brown leather strap with stainless steel buckle is also in good as new condition and order and will fit a wrist size of approx. 7.95". (19 cm.)

IN SUMMARY.

A nice CASIO EDIFICE wristwatch. Tested and working well.  It will be sent (usually next day) via Royal Mail's Tracked 48 service, unless Special Next Day is requested when paying.
