I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.

Please see below for grading details.

I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.

A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.

All records are sent out in plastic covers.

MARC BOLAN.

HIPPY GUMBO / MISFIT.

ORIGINAL UK 1966 PARLOPHONE 7" SINGLE - R 5539.

This was Marc Bolan`s 3rd record.

This is the far rarer stock example, the demo pressings are more common!

This is the rarest of the rare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This record as a stock issue only turns up for sale once in a blue moon and is a gap in most Bolan collections.

A top example would cost around £3000 if you can find one. To be honest you may never see this again for sale in any condition as a stock issue example.

The Record / G / Good condition.

The disc has lots of surface marks and surface wear. The disc has no over deep or very bad marks that stop play. The record plays without skips or jumps and plays pretty well with some crackle under the music. Please do not purchase this if you are a fussy buyer who needs top condition items. This is what it is, you may never see another go up for sale as this is so rare. The record is also NOT in trashed condition!!!! Please see my feedback.

Graded as Good Visual / VG for the play grade.

Please understand the record grading system.

The Labels / VG+ condition. Both labels are decent with some normal age wear.

The Cover / VG+ condition.
.................................................................................

I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.

Mint - as new and in perfect condition.

Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.

Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear.  The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!

Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.

Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.

Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.

Thanks for looking.
