This original artwork is an exceptional representation of the Heidelberg in the early 1930's. The artists, Buschsmid and Gretaux worked together until the early 1930's, producing beautiful marquetry designs depicting typical German themes, landscapes and cityscapes.

The piece has been crafted using the technique called marquetry, which involves the careful selection of different wood pieces to create a mosaic-like picture. The work is absolutely stunning, and it would make a great addition to any art collection.

A wonderful piece of art produced just before the beginning of WWII. A gorgeous representation of Heidelberg at that time in history.
