Im selling this out of my own collection to make a bit of space before relocation, and I hope it finds a great new home.

This Seiko 5 Actus 7019 from February of 1972 is a classic piece of 1970s Japanese watch design, and is really a watch from the golden years of Seiko.

The dial features an applied Seiko logo (printed 5 Actus sub branding), along side crisp applied hour markers, which play with the light beautifully. The dial also has a very fine sunburst texture, adding to the shimering effect which really brings the watch to life.

The hour & minute hands are lumed, corresponding to the lume pips next to the hour markers. The lume is in great condition, showing no sign of patina.

The case shows moderate levels of wear, and has not been polished, as to keep the watch original to itself. The acrylic crystal is also original, and can easily be polished to remove visible scratches.

The watch contains a 7019 Diani Seikosha movement, with 21 jewels, quick set date (via 1st position crown), and quick set day (crown push). The movement runs when shaken, but stops just after, and will require a full service before it can be worn. The day date function can be set to display in both English and Kanji, as it was originally sold in the Japanese and south east Asian markets.

I have also included an image for context from the Seiko 1972 JDM catalogue where you can see the watch!
