PLATE 1 - ARIES RAM
Wedgwood's Jasperware is a type of stoneware characterized by its matte finish and delicate relief decorations. It has been a hallmark of Wedgwood since its introduction in the late 18th century. The Jasper Aries plate features the zodiac sign of Aries, the ram, which is associated with those born between March 21st and April 19th. In Greek mythology, Aries is associated with the Golden Fleece and the ram sent by Hermes to rescue Phrixus and Helle. Symbolically, Aries is often associated with qualities such as leadership, courage, and determination.
Collectors and enthusiasts of Wedgwood often cherish pieces from the zodiac series for their beauty, craftsmanship, and symbolic significance.

PLATE 2 - AURORA'S CHARIOT
The Wedgwood Jasperware collectible plate featuring a Greek design of Aurora's chariot is a stunning piece that embodies the classical elegance and craftsmanship for which Wedgwood is renowned. In mythology, Aurora is often depicted as driving her chariot across the sky, announcing the arrival of the sun. This imagery is rich in symbolism, representing the dawn of a new day, renewal, and the cycle of life. Wedgwood's interpretation of Aurora's chariot on the Jasperware plate would likely feature delicate relief detailing, capturing the grace and beauty of this mythological scene.
The plate would serve as both a decorative and collectible item, appealing to enthusiasts of Wedgwood and classical mythology alike. Owning a Wedgwood Jasperware collectible plate featuring Aurora's chariot not only celebrates Wedgwood's legacy of craftsmanship but also pays homage to the enduring appeal of classical mythology and its timeless themes.
