This is a lovely Table Lamp, converted from a Chinese Temple Vase.

The vase is mounted on a turned and varnished wooden base.

I have not tried to remove the vase from the base, so I don't know if there is a mark on the base of the vase, but I have seen examples of a similar style described as likely to be dated to the Quangxu period of the Qing Dynasty.

The vase is glazed with a lovely dark blue ground, with gilded flowers and butterflies, and Shou characters around the borders.

The lamp is 25 cm to the top of the bulb holder, 9 cm in diameter at the base, and there is about 2.1 metres of power cord. Ready to use.

Excellent antique condition, just a few light scratches to the glaze. The bulb holder is new. Working order.
