1862 T-41 $100 The Confederate States of America note.

This note from the American Civil War features a Vignette at the center of field work. On the bottom left is a portrait of John C. Calhoun, a father of states rights. An allegorical representation of "The Confederacy" appears on the lower right. 

This note was issued on the reverse by Major J.F. Cummings!
