SALE CONDITIONS FOR NEW OLD STOCK SEALED RECORDS

WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS OF SEALED RECORDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES UNLESS THEY ARE STILL SEALED AS ORGINALLY SHIPPED.

This sealed record is sold as a collectible and not a playing copy.  Its premium price is based on the fact that it is still sealed after all these years. Please consider this carefully before you open up a new old stock sealed record.  Although rare occurrences, we cannot be responsible for pressing defects, warps or any other factory errors as this title is no longer returnable to the distributor for a replacement or refund. We except no returns of opened product under any circumstances.  The higher value of sealed old stock LPs is usually due to collectors wanting to keep, and not open, original issues.  Opening the seal changes the intrinsic nature and value of the object, the same as would apply to still sealed blister-packed/boxed collectable toys.  Open copies of the same LPs are not worth as much to serious collectors because they then become far more common, however good the condition of the disc or sleeve.

Our sealed records are described TO THE BEST OF OUR KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY, but are sold only as stated on an 'As Is' basis.  If you are purchasing this title to open and play, it is not returnable under any circumstances.  It is sold as a still-sealed collectors item under the assumption that the purchaser intends to keep it as sealed.

This title is new old stock from the original period of the album's release.  It is not a recent repress or reissue, but as it is sealed we cannot confirm which pressing plant or label design it has, and it is offered for sale on that basis.

Please notify us with your payment if you want us to open this sealed record and check the merchandise before we ship it. This would prevent seam splits (the disc breaking through the spine of the cover in transit) that can occur as part of the shipping process. We always pack carefully, but the only sure way to prevent seam splits in transit is to remove the record from the cover before packing it, which we do with all non-sealed records. At the buyer’s request, we will open a sealed record and pack the vinyl in a protective sleeve separate from the cover. Unless the buyer requests that the sealed record be opened and packed in this manner, we are not liable for any seam splits that may occur in transit.
