This is a fully working and refurbished 48k zx spectrum ready to do battle for the next couple of decades. Was previously listed as a 16k machine but with no interest I have now upgraded the machine to 48k as shown with all new upper ram and logic chips.

New capacitors, keyboard membrane, composite modification for easier connection to modern tvs. The heat producing voltage regulator has been upgraded to a modern switching type to keep this machine running cool. The M1 line is working so you can load games from devices such as the divmmc (not included), Board is issue 2. Composite cable and power supply (modern switching type not Sinclair original) now included. Bundle includes Sinclair spectrum introduction book and the Basic Progrogamming book. A Boots CR255 cassette player and audio lead. So assume the worst and maybe you can get it working. But honestly most people these days are loading software digitally so it’s a moot point.

Case and faceplate in great good condition as shown, so just add loading method of your choice and off you go to nostalgia land.
