Both sides of the record (and the labels) look and sound surprisingly good for a 60-year-old record, with only a little surface noise, definitely very listenable. (I just sat and listened to all four songs in a row, and they're great!) The outer heavy cardboard sleeve has a one-inch split at top right and a two-inch split at bottom right, plus some corner wear and edgewear, and there's "rubbing" visible on front and (more noticeably) the white-background back cover. THE WEAVERS Vol. 1 with "Goodnight Irene," "Tzena Tzena Tzena," "On Top of Old Smoky" with Terry Gilkyson and "So Long," Decca Records label, catalog number ED 2015, Extended Play 45 7-inch record. To be honest, this record sounds VERY bad, with LOTS of surface noise. I'm only throwing it in as a bonus. You can play it, but it sounds terrible. Heavy cardboard sleeve has a couple of stains below the "Decca Records" text on the front, some rubbing, and a LOT or dark "rubbing" on the white-background but very age-browned back cover. This record is strictly an "artifact only" collectible to look at -- but the Johnnie Ray record is one you will play and enjoy for years to come!
