Here's a nice pair of F.E. Lindstrom diagonal cutters, made in Eskilstuna, Sweden. They're stamped 'Bell System".
Bell Telephone must have wanted its workers to have durable equipment, because these cutters are top-quality in every way.
This pair has seen a lot of use, but it's ready for years more work.
The box joint is in good shape, with only a little play.
The cutting surfaces are sharp and nick-free, and the stripper notches are in fine shape too.
The metal finish is quite good - it's darkened from age and has a little very faint pitting, but is still very presentable.
The stampings on the head are distinct and clear. There's also a stamping of unknown meaning on the inside of one of the handles - see pics.
