It is in good overall antique condition with no cracks,chips,nibbles,scratches,damage,repair or restoration.

It is of a larger oval type measuring approximately 5.8cm in length,4.7cm in width at it's widest point & approximately 0.6cm in depth.

I have used a 1p coin to give a visual indication of size.

The cameo also has a 9ct gold loop at the top to be worn as a pendant if preferred.

It is hallmarked 9 375 with an impressed letter p into a round for the year date with a impressed sovereign head into a round at the end,please see the photo's provided.

The pin is also hallmarked 9 375 close to the hinge on the side of the pin,but all the marks together are too small to identify clearly.

The gold makers initials P & C Ld are impressed close to the hallmarks.

I have also had the Cameo professionally appraised as an original shell cameo brooch with a 9ct solid gold frame & pin.
