"Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"..

From the time when Elton John made really good albums, this is one of the best!..

Issued on DJM in 1973...DJLPD 1001...UK pressing in a fold out gatefold sleeve printed by Euro-Albums,Holland..The records show slightly translucent purple when held to the light...The matrix numbers are A3/B4/C3/D2..

You don't need strong light to see that this is not in the best condition...All 4 side have light scuffs and hairlines with side 1 having a nasty scuff... With all my items I play grade (All the way through, not just a spot check here and there) Played with a shure tracking at 2G ..So,this what I hear...All 4 side play REALLY well...The scuff on side one may as well not be there as it don't affect play at all..There is a little crackle here and there but it's minimal..I noted NO clicks or pops and the sound quality was clean and undistorted...It does not stick or jump...There are no edge warps and it's not dished....
...So...Whats the grade?...Cosmetically G at best,but on a play grade VG+ if not better..You have the facts...You decide!!

The labels are undamaged but there are heavy spindle trails and the edges of the centre holes are worn slightly white..

The sleeve is clean...There are a few minor defects...The spine has some ageing and it's a bit bent/bumped at the top...There is a little edge and cornerwear but no major defects or damage..

Any questions,just ask!!..
