France - 1926 Eton College cover (School Crest and 'Floreat Etona' on backflap) sent from Windsor, England to Paris in July 1926. Re-addressed however to Deauville upon arrival and posted in a letter box rather than being handed back to a postman. As a result, stamped on both the front and the back 'TROUVE A LA BOITE AUX LETTRES' and taxed at 80 centimes upon delivery in Deaville, paid with 3 x Chiffre Taxe stamps. The 45c stamp is damaged in the centre and the letter is roughly opened. Please see the 3 images.
