In Excellent working order
This is
a very fast and sharp f/1.4 55mm lens, excellent for low light and headshot/portrait photography. Smooth focus action. Glass is unscratched &
unmarked, with only 2 faint pin-size coating dots on the rear, with no affect on picture quality. Aperture
action clicks positively and overall condition is very good. No
mould, fungus, or oil. It produces superb "SHARP" pictures right from wide open with rich
colours, crisp focus, and buttery smooth bokeh. Most
lenses "sweet spot" of sharpness is 2 stops from wide open, but this
lens will produce great sharpness in the center of the image right from
wide open, and sharpness will increase
to the whole frame
as you stop down the aperture. For portraits, this is excellent
when you want a shallow depth of field and shooting at @f1.4. Solid lens construction, all Metal, no cheap plastics anywhere,
built to last. Excellent All-round lens.

can be fitted to almost any camera with an suitable M42 adapter. M42
Adapters are available cheaply on eBay
for all digital SLRs
including NIKON, SONY ALPHAS AND NEX, PENTAX, PANASONIC to name a just a few brands..
Try searching "M42 to canon" or "M42 to nikon" or "M42 to
the camera brand that you own". As normal with used lenses, there might be some insignificant speckles of dust inside which do not affect in any way the use of the lens and the lovely pictures it takes. This particular lens has very little/hardly any dust. |
