1800's $2 The Adrian Insurance Company note from Adrian, Michigan.

The Adrian Insurance Company was originally The Bank of Adrian which operated from 1838 until 1839. 

This note features a detailed Vignette of cattle and hogs being driven by two men on horseback above the title. On the lower left is a Vignette of a stonemason. A "TWO" protector is printed in red!

This note grades Choice About Uncirculated.
