France - 1847 Entire Letter sent from St Petersburg, Russia to Schroder & Schyler, Wine Merchants in Bordeaux. Saint Petersburg boxed marking dated 30 August on the reverse and Prusse Givet 3 (Paris) dated 21 September + 'AED' double oval markings on the front upon entry to France in red ink. 'AED' - Affranchie a l'etranger jusqu'a destination (postage paid to destination)- is Rupp/Noel marking no 1501. Excellent condition.
