It is the perfect choice for ambitious ski tourers who put a premium on speed. This touring boot's ascent performance has been greatly improved with the Speed Nose and a setback pivot point. That helps you save energy for the descent. The Ultra-Lock 3.0 System makes it possible to transition between Fit / Walk / Ski modes with the adjustment of just one buckle. Also, the new Master Step Insert enables easier entry -- up to 50% easier in comparison to the Quick-Step-In Insert. The Carbonio TLT7 also wins singular downhill performance and rigidity with the carbon fiber upper and Lambda Frame.
The TLT7 Carbonio Alpine Touring Boot is part of Dynafit's limited Carbonio collection due to its premiere lightness (certainly rando-worthy) that still provides an aggressive downhill performance. Not only is its cuff made entirely of carbon, but the cuff is shaped in a streamlined Lambda Frame that thickens in the shell's lateral and frontal areas for the proper torsional rigidity required to ski back down the mountain you just ran up. Dynafit mixed this innovative cuff with a Grilamid shell and spoiler to amplify the boot's stiff flex for downhill performance.
The sleek, streamlined TLT7 Carbonio keeps its weight just above two pounds by also limiting the amount of straps and buckles to a single, solitary buckle. Dynafit's innovative Ultra Lock System 3.0 engages the boot's walk mode as well as a secure closure. In walk mode, the TLT7 Carbonio provides a staggering 60° of rotation for a natural uphill stride. Pair that walk mode with the boot's Formula Pomoca Climb sole, and you're in for a speedy ascent. The sole also features Dynafit's redesigned tech inserts, positioned closer to the nose for an easier step-in.
As part of the Carbonio collection, the TLT7 was styled to match the remaining skis, poles, jacket, and backpack in the same collection.
The Carbonio version of the TLT7 is the new high-end model featuring a carbon-fiber cuff-stiffener. The Carbonio boots feature the new UltraLock 3.0 design that combines the upper and lower buckles into one switch. Dynafit has done away with the removable tongue system in the TLT7, opting for a simpler design that retains much of the tongued ski performance and the un-tongued walkability. The result is a boot that weighs less than a kilogram and will take you wherever you want to go.

- Lambda Frame
The use of an exoskeleton provides lateral and front rigidity to the structure, favoring a precise immediate response. At the same time, this enables softer materials to be employed in less critical areas of the shell to deliver improved walkability and ease foot entry and removal into the boot.

Higher Ascent Efficiency! The shorter toebox and rotation point at the binding attachment set further back make walking even more efficient. Dynafit revolutionizes once again the connection between boot and binding, the legend continues.
- Ultralock 3.0 Closure System
Manage the boot with just one buckle: fewer buckles means reduced weight, a more streamlined profile as well as reduced risk of breakages and unlocking of buckles. One dualfunction buckle enables the cuff to be opened and the tourer to transition from ski to walk mode in one action and vice versa, as well as opening and closure of the shell.
