Description A nice rare English antique late Victorian solid sterling silver fancy link Albert pocket watch chain in lovely condition and with full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1899. Beautiful chain with more uncommon elongated and spiral-twist silver links and with a silver t-bar and a secure silver swivel/dog catch. Attached is a large antique solid silver 2 shilling coin fob in a silver hallmarked mount and it weighs a heavy approx 57 grams, (total). Great silver watch chain and hard to find in this link.

Measurements Measures approx 12.2 inches (310mm) in length, end to end.

Date English antique solid sterling silver with English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1899, (date letter "z") on the t-bar and silver swivel catch, so definitely all matching and there are lion passant silver stamps on most of the chain links. The silversmiths initials are "H.B" (Herbert Bushell - 1894 - 1909); the attached 1896 silver coin is also guaranteed silver and the silver coin mount is fully hallmarked Chester 1908.

Condition Lovely condition with no splits or solder repairs and with just minor age wear on the chain links, a very nice genuine antique example with more unusual links and the silver swivel/dog catch still opens and closes securely and has a strong spring. Beautiful heavy silver fancy link watch chain.
