for auction is a vintage Watchmakers Bench micrometer. I believe it is a user made micrometer from a now de-funk/closed, for many years  watch factory. It is as found and in good used condition. It is a recent find and it will need a bit of light cleaning and lubrication  and fine tuning before being put back to work.  The interesting note of the functioning of the micrometer, is it has a clutch when closing  ( see and listen to the video) The maker or owners name is stamped in it. Dan.  The tool was found less than 3 miles from the Elgin national watch factory. I am selling it as a display piece or for restoration.  Please see all pictures for condition. Ask questions before you bid. Any information will be appreciated. Buyer pays shipping with delivery confirmation usps ground advantage. thanks for looking.
