HMM-165, also known as Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 165, was a United States Marine Corps helicopter squadron that served during the Vietnam War. The squadron was activated in 1965 and deployed to Vietnam as part of the U.S. military's involvement in the conflict.

HMM-165 primarily operated the UH-34D Seahorse and later transitioned to the CH-46 Sea Knight helicopters. The squadron's missions included troop transport, medical evacuation, resupply, and other aviation support operations in the Vietnam War theater.

During its service in Vietnam, HMM-165 participated in various campaigns and engagements, providing vital helicopter support to Marine and other U.S. forces on the ground.
