This beautiful sterling silver and South sea pearl pendant is made by quality pearl company Autore and is one of their vintage pieces. Exquisitely presented with a sculptural silver section that curves around the pearl perfectly. Pearls are organic gemstones, entirely formed within the soft tissue of shelled mollusks like oysters, mussels and clams. They are found naturally when an irritant enters the shell and is coated in nacre over time, some pearls are cultured to create the layers of nacre onto an inserted starter.
